Healing Necklace
Amber is considered a very powerful substance,
and
as it is a fossil it is believed to have life giving
and protective
qualities. Found jewelry made from amber goes back
to 8000 B.C.E. and has been greatly prized in Ancient
Europe and Asia. Powers attributed to amber also
include luck, healing, strength, beauty and love.
There
are many qualities attributed to Turquoise: Healing,
protection, courage,
money, love, friendship and luck. I believe it
also enhances creativity. Silver is
thought
to enhance intuition and compassion.

Kyanite
is excellent for meditation. It is also associated
with unconditional love. The Swarovski crystals
bring clarity of mind.

Earth
and Moon Necklace
The pendant
is amazonite, good for success in gambling and
luck in taking chances. The painted wooden beads
are fom Africa, the crescents are made of bone.
The silvery accents are pewter. The big crescents
are Tagua Nuts, also known as Vegetable Ivory,
and are the seeds
of
a Tropical
South
American
tree.
Before
plastic
they were used to make many items including buttons.
They were and are a substitute for ivory, being
cheaper and more readily available, not to mention
better for the animals with tusks. They are becoming
a source of income for their region
again
as an
alternative to cutting forests.

Happiness Necklace
The
attributes of chrysoprase are happiness, friendship,
luck, protection, attracting money and healing.
It feels so good to wear it. The silvery beads
are pewter and the aqua balls are glass. Clear
Swarovski crystals bring clarity.

Centering Necklace
The White
Buffalo Magnacite comes from the American Southwest.
This is sometimes called white turquoise, but
it
is not turquoise. The magnacite is beautiful
and as with all white stones, reflects the moon.
The
cubes are jasper which brings the qualities of
protection and grounding. The pearls are Swarovski
crystal
as are the bicones. Crystals promote mental
clarity.

Teacher's Necklace
This
was designed as a gift for a man. Great on a
woman too! Wolf is
the symbol of the teacher, the mentor, the guide.
Great teachers know that they too are learning all
the time. The red coral and silver enhance the
feminine qualities of intuition and compassion.
The brown beads are date seeds from Africa. There,
the men eat dates while sipping mint tea and talking
and polish the seeds on the stones at their feet.
These
date
seeds
are used in the necklace for communication. The
black bone beads are for strength and stablility.

Moon
Goddess Pendant
The moon
is of fossilized walrus tusk, carved by an Inuit
artist. The walrus is of the sea and so connected
to the moon and the tides. I wrapped it in sterling
silver, with spirals to represent our growth through
life's cycles and also to represent the chakras
or energy centers of the body. Her headress has
moonstones which enhance intuition, increase psychic
awareness, and balance the emotions. Moonstones

The amethyst arrowhead suggests the warrior/hunter or the
ability to focus in alignment with Great Spirit. Purple is
